Associated Baptist Press has a pretty well-written article on the discussion regarding the past of Ergun Caner, president of Liberty Baptist University & Seminary.  Caner has come under fire for statements he has made that appear to be blatant fabrications.  Both Christians and Muslims have called on Caner to come clean regarding the discrepancies in many of his statements regarding his personal testimony, religious background, debates, and other such issues.  If you are part of the SBC, you should be aware of this, as it will likely come up at the convention in June.
