Kevin DeYoung writes a nice post on why Christians should covenant together in church membership. Far too often, we see people not realize why church membership matters. DeYoung offers some useful thoughts that he borrows from a helpful book.
Since I have a good friend who identifies himself as a theonomist, I thought I’d link to R. C. Sproul Jr.’s treatment of the question of what this means. Jr. is pretty nice to the theonomists, by the way.
Brian Croft at Practical Shepherding offers some helpful advice for how to talk to a person who is suffering. Christians, we should think about how we might approach this situation, since all of us are likely to visit with a suffering saint at some point in the future.
