Tom Ascol offers his take on the GCR Task Force progress report. Since Ascol represents a reformed section of Southern Baptists, it is worth seeing his take on the report. Ascol is very positive about the work of the task force, though he would like to see even more.
This article, though chilling, is a helpful reminder to parents to be very careful when setting boundaries for their children. The author tells of how she and her husband have trusted their guts in order to make tough decisions that have in turn kept their children safe from people who were later exposed as predators. This is hard but good stuff to think about.
The Cardinals have posted their “team of the decade” for the ‘00s. It’s an impressive team, and almost exactly the way I would have picked it.
Corey does a good job addressing some questions about calling to ministry and the fact that all Christians are called to love and obey god.
